Laurie Harris is a U.S. Air Force veteran, entrepreneur, and retired manufacturing professional who brings decades of leadership, problem-solving, and practical experience to the Nourish & Restore Wellness Foundation.
Following her military service, Laurie spent more than 25 years with Procter & Gamble in manufacturing, where she developed a strong foundation in process improvement, teamwork, leadership, and finding practical solutions to complex challenges. Today, she is the owner of Hummingbird Hills Design & Craft Company, combining entrepreneurship, creativity, handcrafted goods, and scratch-made foods with a commitment to quality and community.
Laurie has a longstanding interest in nutrition and holistic wellness and believes proper nutrition is fundamental to helping the body function at its best. She is particularly interested in the relationship between whole foods, vitamins, minerals and the everyday lifestyle choices that support long-term health and well-being. Her approach emphasizes education, informed choices, and providing the body with a strong nutritional foundation to support overall health.
As a veteran, business owner, caregiver, and community volunteer, Laurie also understands that healthy choices must be practical and attainable in real life. She brings that perspective to NRWF’s mission of helping individuals and families develop sustainable approaches to nutrition, wellness, and self-sufficiency.
